Trading Sight for Insight

What is ÓÐINSAUGA?

ÓÐINSAUGA (pronounced "OH-thins-OW-ga") is Old Norse for "Odin's Eye." In Norse mythology, Odin sacrificed one of his eyes at Mímir's well in exchange for wisdom, trading his sight for insight. That exchange is the foundation of this work: to see beyond the evident and convey what it means to be there. The essence is people in places and moments that are once, and will never be quite the same again.
